Catherine was a cat (surprise surprise) that visited the baby in the manger during the Christmas play.

Suzanne was an angel in the Christmas play. Look, no cast!

Happy Birthday William...

William had a bunch of buddies up to the park for his birthday. He had lots of snacks and lots of running around. He was even nice enough to pose for a picture with us. Not sure where Catie is...

Little Piggy...

Show mommy how the little piggies eat! Catie liked her cupcake at William's birthday party.

Suzanne likes cake! This was William's birthday dinner at a pizza place with his buddy Trevor. Suzie still has her cast on...

Tree Girls...

The girls were very excited to decorate for Christmas! Suzanne made sure we got the outside lights up the day after Thanksgiving and the tree went up on the 30th. Now we can start December off right. Happy Holidays!!!

Cub Cave...

Suzanne found a bear cave at the SF Zoo. It must be nice to still be small enough to get out of the way every once in a while.

Swing...

William liked to swing on the rings at the playground inside the zoo. After a few tries, he was able to get all the way across skipping every other ring. What a monkey...

Bear Paw...

Suzanne liked comparing her paws to the prints at the bear exhibit at the SF Zoo. We got to see two Grizzly Bears playing in the water and our little bear liked it very much!

Kittens...

Catherine really enjoyed our trip to see the animals at the zoo. She even liked playing on the animal statues.

Sweet Catherine...

Catherine is nice enough to kiss her Daddy even when he is scruffy "yike a yion" ("like a lion" in Catie's words).

Happy Thanksgiving...

Catie is all turkeyed out after Thanksgiving dinner. We had our traditional day with the kids' friends Chris, Josh and Sophia (w/ recent addition Allison) and fun was had by all. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Jumper...

It is a good thing that Suzanne is heeding the doctor's orders to be careful with her broken arm and to not jump off of any tall drops. As much as we don't want her to get hurt, it is nice to see that she is not intimidated by her injury.

Lighthouse Cat...

Catherine and Mommy enjoyed some girl time during a walk along the jetty to the lighthouse.

Hedgehogs...

The kids liked playing on the cement hedgehogs that make up the jetty into the Monterey Bay. They are great for making bridges and tunnels along the sand.

We arrived at the beach early for a friend's birthday party so we could have some exploration time. You can see the lighthouse in the background and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk is behind us.

Beached Whale...

We crawled all over the whale statue across from from the beach in Santa Cruz.

Catherine sometimes wears her hair up. She calls it a "floof"...

Holy Pink Cast Batgirl!

Suzanne fell down and broke her arm but got a cool pink cast out of it. She was very brave the whole time and stayed in good spirits. Luckily, she will only have to have the cast on for three weeks.

Speaking of the Sharks game (see below), William and I made it on ESPN's coverage of the game. Don't be thrown off by the dark haired girl with Mike. She is Trevor's little sister.

Go Sharks...

William and Mike had the opportunity to watch the Sharks play the Flyers from the glass this weekend (big thanks to Matt!). William and his buddy from baseball, Trevor, had a great time watching the Sharks win in overtime.
